EMBROIDERY FAQS
What is a vector file, and why is it different from a jpeg or png?
A vector is a file made up of lines and shapes, and is infinitely resizable without loosing quality. A vector file will be expressed as .eps, .svg, or .ai and is editable using the correct program. This is different from an image file like png or jpeg which is made up of pixels. This format is not editable and can only be reduced in size (not scaled bigger) without loosing quality. Always get your logo in both png and vector formats.
What is the average size for embridery on a shirt?
The most common specs for an embroidered logo on a shirt is 8cm wide on the LHC (Left Hand Chest) and a square logo is usually between 4-5cm wide.
